Catherine G. "Cathy" Bonner

Catherine G. Bonner, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 19th at the age of 89.  She was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian Woolever, and beloved sister of the late Lillian Robash, the late Eleanor Schultz, and the late Charles Woolever Jr.  Predeceased by her husband Richard A. Bonner in 2002, Catherine will be held in loving remembrance by her children, Karen Hamilton, Eileen Ensworth, Richard C. Bonner, Ronald Bonner, Linda Zeitzer, Randall Bonner, Leslie Truver, and the late Amy Bonner.  She cherished her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Cathy was passionate about her role as Lead Coordinator of Parent to Parent at ARC-Allegheny.  Her career at ARC spanned decades, during which she was the recipient of many awards.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the many friends who provided Catherine with support, companionship and love, in her final days.

In keeping with her wishes, the timing of a memorial gathering will be shared at a later date. In lieu of flowers, well-wishers are asked to honor Cathy’s dedication to the support and advocacy of children and families with a donation to the March of Dimes.
