Charlotte "Charlie" Mae (Fryske) Roche

Charlotte (Charlie) Mae Fryske Roche, 79, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from pancreatic cancer. Charlie is predeceased by her husband, Robert P. Roche. She is the loving mother of Robert (Robyn), Brian (Jodi), Rachel Watsula, Bridget (Rory) Roche, and the late Shawn; proud grandmother of nine; caring great grandmother of five; cherished sister of Mary Ann Basits. Charlie is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Charlie was born in Mt. Pleasant on April 12, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Kluska) Fryske.  Charlie grew up in Belle Vernon, graduated in 1960 from Belmar High School, and attended the Grace Martin Business School. She worked at Jones & Laughlin.  She started her own business, C&R Marketing, running it for 30 years. Charlie was active with The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, she loved attending the Symphony, Broadway, Jazz concerts, and museums.  She was a traveler of the world, an avid reader, and loved trying new restaurants in Pittsburgh. Friends and Family are welcome at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, on Monday, February 6 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 7 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Parish – St. Bernard Church. Interment to follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Charlie's memory to the Vasculitis Foundation or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
