Christina L. Fabus

Christina “Christy” Lee Fabus, 61, of Dormont, passed suddenly and peacefully Tuesday December 5th. Loving wife of 37 years to Jeffrey John Fabus. Preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Brubach and her brother Gregory Bell. Adoring mother to Jason (Candace) Fabus, Jessica (Zack) Rosser, Janice Carrozzi, Daniel (Kate) Fabus, Jeffrey Fabus, and Godson Walter Figas, rounding out her Fab 6.  But the loves of her life and the thing she was most proud of were her 8 grandchildren, Jacob, Rebecca, Rhiannon, Charlotte, Cordelia, Merric, Danni, and Winifred. And they loved their Gaga just as much.  Also survived by her sister Elizabeth (Allan) Figas, and many, many, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

She spent over 25 years working for the diocese of Pittsburgh. Most currently working for Bishop David Zubik. She had never been happier. 

Her faith was strong, but her love for her family is what drove her. She will be immensely missed by all who knew her.  

Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15216. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Bernard Church (St. Michael the Archangel Parish) 311 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15216 on Tuesday morning at 10, followed by entombment in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dormont Food Pantry, 3023 Texas Ave Pittsburgh, PA 15216.
