"Tina" of Castle Shannon, peacefully at home, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Born June 14, 1937 a daughter of the late Nicola and Elvera D’Angelo. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth N. Weiland; devoted mother of Michael, Dona, Steve, Kathy, Nancy, Maureen (Greg) and the late Christine; sister of Carole (Bill) Morse and George (Lisa) D’Angelo; loving ‘Gram’ of 15, ‘GiGi’ of 8 and another Blessing on the way; sister in law of Terry; also survived by many nieces, nephews and countless friends. Tina was raised in the Beltzhoover area of Pittsburgh where she attended St. George School and Church. She married her high school sweetheart, Kenny in 1958. Ten years later, they moved to Castle Shannon, joined St. Anne Church where Tina volunteered at the church and school. After raising her family, Tina held a slew of jobs including being the local Avon Lady. At age 50, she found her true passion as the Head Cook and Dishwasher at Weiland’s Café. For 20 years she made the best burgers, fish sandwiches, liver and onions in town! All made with her secret ingredient - Love. Tina enjoyed spending time with friends, playing cards, eating and chatting. She volunteered at Meals-On-Wheels and the Baptist Home. Tina will be greeted in Heaven by all the loved ones who have gone before her. A special thank you to her incredibly loving caregivers from Gallagher Hospice.
