Age 74, of Bethel Park, formerly of Pittsburgh, on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Beloved husband for 40 years of the late Janice (Ruffing) Greer; devoted father of David R. Greer, Jr. (Casey), Aimee J. (Jason) Coleman and Thomas L. Greer; loving grandfather of Lauren, Lillian, Ashley, Jake, Evelyn and Ember; brother of his twin sister Darlene and the late Marjorie. Dave acquired his Mechanical Engineering Degree from Drexel University and worked for Columbia Gas some 30 years. He was an avid reader, loved all Pittsburgh sports, enjoyed gardening and singing. Dave’s true passion was being the proud ‘Pap Pap’ of his 6 grandchildren. Friends will be welcomed, while exercising all COVID-19 precautions, at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00p.m. A Blessing Service and the interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery on Friday will be private.
