David Murtaugh

Age 73, of Brookline, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 22, 2025. Son of the late John and Pearl Murtaugh; beloved husband of 47 years to Diann (Bonini); loving father of Melissa (Dave) Hychalk, Brian (Christina) Murtaugh, Greg (Sara) Murtaugh, and Colleen Murtaugh; cherished grandfather lovingly known as “Pop”, to James, Mikey, Matthew, Gregory, Madison and McKenzie; dearest Brother of Grace Talarico and the late John R. Murtaugh.

Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, December 28th, from 1-4 p.m., at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon, PA 15216. On Monday, December 29th, everyone will meet at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, St. Bernard Church, 311 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15216, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery.
