Dr. John E. Love

Age 92, longtime resident of Mount Lebanon, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Beloved husband for over 56 years of the late Barbara Jane (Konold) Love; devoted father of Joseph F. Love, the late Mary L. Bigenho and John E. Love, Jr.; proud grandfather of Jason Matthew, Joshua David, Sarah Elizabeth Bigenho and the late Jimmy E. Love; brother of the late Kathleen Streett; also survived by great-grandchildren. Dr. Love received his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Pittsburgh and his Doctorate at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. His family practice was located in the South Hills for over 63 years. Doc’s compassionate care for his patients often included House Calls. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Thursday from 3:00 until 7:00pm. Service will be held at Laughlin’s on Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be private. If desired, memorials may be made to Humane Animal Rescue Pittsburgh, 1101 Western Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.
