Elaine (Alexander) Klein

Age 99, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, was called Home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and loved ones, on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Daughter of the late Dr. Clayton L. “Bob” Alexander, D.D.S. and the late Rheabena P. Alexander; beloved wife for 56 years of the late Walter H. “Bud” Klein; loving mother of Donna Elaine Williams (Dr. Gary), Robert Scott Klein (Nan) and the late Cheryl Lynn Klein; devoted grandmother of Jennifer Lynn Baker (Wayne), Kimberly Hvozdik (Steven), Robert Scott Klein, Jr. (Heather), Brent Williams (Alice), Derrick Williams (Dorry), Chad Williams (Jillian) and Gwen Williams Norman (Jason); sister of the late Robert Alexander ( “Jo”, surviving); sister in law of Joanne “Joey” Klein; also survived by her 13 cherished great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews; Elaine and Bud were former members of Beverly Heights U.P. Church and Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, and after Bud’s passing, she was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Elaine and Bud were ordained ruling elders and trustees of the United Presbyterian Church. Viewing, service and interment in Jefferson Memorial Park were private. In lieu of flowers, if desired, contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
