Elaine J. Petrucci

Sadly, our beloved, Elaine J Petrucci, 73, of Scott Township (formerly Finleyville), passed away on January 01, 2025. Elaine was born in Wilkinsburg on March 20, 1951. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Marion MacNamara and brother Jim. She is survived by her daughter, Renee Skinner; son, Richard Petrucci; son-in-law, John Skinner; daughter-in-law, Alison; grandchildren, Sophia and Owen; brothers, Craig and Keith. Elaine also leaves behind a supportive group of relatives and friends.

It’s impossible to summarize an entire life in a few sentences, but most importantly to us, she was a supportive and loving mom.  Some of our favorite childhood memories were sitting around the kitchen table eating a home-cooked meal and talking about our day.  Our house was known for hosting many family summer parties, but she was exceptionally fond of Christmas and decorated the house with a different theme each year.  Elaine was always fond of movies and had a talent for writing.  She enrolled at Pitt University studying screenplay writing and submitted a script for an episode of the TV show “Bret Maverick” starring James Garner.  Later she opened a video rental store, EJ Video, which was in business for a number of years in Finleyville.   Elaine also worked in medical records at South Hills Health Systems and in retail services for Kohl’s Department store and Home Depot where she won many awards for her service.

Please join us on March 14, 2025 at 11 am for a memorial service at Mt Lebanon Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 255 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15216.  Lunch will immediately follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, if desired memorials may be made to Klove Radio Station or Samaritan's Purse.
