Elizabeth June Critchfield, 88, born June 21, 1933, passed away April 17, 2022. June was the loving mother of three children, Elizabeth June Dixon (Beth), Jeffrey B. Dixon (Jeff), and Christopher B. Dixon (Chris), and also four grandchildren (Chelsea, Bevan, Jeffrey, and Renee). She was the daughter of Olive Marguerite Bennett, and one of 5 children, with one brother (Lewis), and three sisters (Constance, Juanita, and Hazel). June was a talented artist, and graduate of the Carnegie Mellon School of Fine Arts, in painting and drawing. She developed this talent into a successful business for 35 years designing and creating unique custom scarves, tote bags, and women's designer accessories. June started her business in Pittsburgh, and later had stores in the Inner-Harbor in Baltimore, and also Naples, Florida. She was an avid tennis player, and tennis enthusiast throughout her entire life. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, and always had a happy, cheerful, and outgoing personality. June will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and everyone who encountered her in business.
