Frank H. Dasta

Age 87, a resident of Mt. Lebanon, on Tuesday June 13, 2023. Beloved husband for 65 years of Carolyn (Guerriero) Dasta; father of Frank James (Stacey), Eric Charles (Kathy) and Matthew (Ashley) Dasta; grandfather of Frank John, Marissa, Daniel, Kelly, Eric Christopher, Grace, Vince, Jack and Anna; brother of Judith Phelps and the late Lorraine “Gail” Galinat. An avid Steelers fan and season ticket holder since 1972. He and Carolyn attended the Immaculate Reception playoff game. He was thrilled to meet and shake hands with Franco Harris at a charity event, last fall. A 1965 graduate of Duquesne University and member of the Beta Alpha Psi honor society. A dedicated student, who attended night school while working full-time and raising his children. He sacrificed a great deal in order to achieve his goals while providing for his family. A Certified Public Accountant since 1968, entrepreneur, and business owner of 46 years who worked until age 85. He loved researching the stock market, and was a big fan of Warren Buffet. A dedicated jogger who ran daily and enjoyed running the Pittsburgh Marathon well into his 70’s. A Korean War Veteran. Services and Internment in the National Cemetery of The Alleghenies are private. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, Frank asks that contributions be made to the Trump for President Re-Election Campaign. The man had a fabulous sense of humor.
