Frank Kernan Obituary
age 90, of Mount Lebanon, on Sunday, May 21, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Rachel (Boyle) Kernan; devoted father of Pete Kernan of Solon Ohio, Joe Kernan of Park City Utah and William Kernan of Columbia, South Carolina; proud grandfather of Nicholas and Daniel Kernan of Solon Ohio; son of the late John and Elizabeth (Steele) Kernan; brother of the late John J., Paul G., David R., James F., Jean Coleman, Julie Semple, Sisters Eileen and Mary Noel Kernan. Frank practiced law in Allegheny County for several decades. He loved his family, old friends, playing sports, card games, reading, and social justice. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint John Capistran Church on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery will be private. If desired, memorials may be made to your local community food bank.
