Frederick J. Arden

Age 81, of Castle Shannon, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, April 1, 2022. Beloved husband for almost 22 years of Mary Semian Arden; devoted stepfather of Melissa Kulasa, Richard and Judith Semian; loving step-grandfather of Brooke, Katie, Shawn, Bryce and Tyler Kulasa; Dillion and Andrew Semian; Courtney Sell and Justin Price; great-step grandfather of Isabella, Zachary, Ava and Ella; also survived by his best friend, Finney. Fred’s life began humbly at the Holy Family Institute where he met Mary years ago. He was a proud Air Force Veteran and after his discharge went to work for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 1008 Castle Shannon Boulevard, Castle Shannon on Monday from 4:00 until 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Anne Church (St. Paul of the Cross Parish) on Tuesday at 12 noon. Interment in St. Anne Cemetery.
