George Walker, Jr. Obituary

Age 90, of Baldwin Township, on Saturday March 14, 2020. Husband of the late Patricia E. (McGroder) Walker; father of Beverly (Alex) Nemeth and Brian (Mary Ann) Walker; grandfather of Christian (Kaleen) Wolfe and Callahan (Daniel) Hoyson; and Geoffrey, Jonathan and Neal Walker; great grandfather of Silas, Emmett and Felicity Wolfe. George worked as a bricklayer at LTV Steel (J&L) for 32 years. He was a member of the Clairton Sportsman Club for more than 50 years, where for several years he served on the Board of Directors. He participated in National Rifle Matches for 25 years, accredited by the Civilian Marksmanship Program as Master Class. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing, and was a proud US Marine Corps Veteran. Memorial service and interment in the National Cemetery of The Alleghenies will be held at a future date.
