James M. Elardo

James M. Elardo, age 89, of Pittsburgh, peacefully passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025.

Born in Sharpsburg, PA, to the late Martin J. and Mary C. Elardo.  He was the beloved husband of the late Elaine Elardo, who passed away in 2021. He was the devoted father of the late Jamie Gentile (the late Lawrence), Jocelyn McGrath (Regis), Julie Peart (David), Jacqueline Laffey (the late Brendan), Jill Misavage (Paul Black), and Jennifer Smuts (David). He was a loving grandfather to Samuel Gentile (Kelley), Brittany McGrath, Tyler Peart, Kelsey Peart, James Misavage, Brooke Misavage, Rachel Smuts, Oliver Smuts, and the late Regis McGrath.
A private celebration of James’ life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes.
