James C. Kletter

Age 84, of Mt. Lebanon, on Tuesday October 28, 2025. Jim was the beloved husband for 55 years of Signe Kletter.  Father of Todd Kletter, Brad Kletter, and Lynn Primrose. Brother of Daniel Kletter, Elaine Richardson, and Diane Schuler. Loving grandfather of Logan Kletter, Macey Primrose, Will Primrose, Sofia Kletter, Maxim Kletter, Andrew Primrose, and Kristian Kletter.  James was preceded in death by his parents Earnest and Mildred (Walton) Kletter. Jim was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School.  He then went to undergrad at Notre Dame followed by a few years in the Army and then law school at Duquesne.  He was a talented lawyer, but his life's passion was always his family and athletics (coaching, watching, and playing).  There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Michael the Archangel Parish – St. Bernard Church on Monday at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Ave Maria Academy Athletics 401 Washington Road Pittsburgh PA 15216.
