James Walter Turner

Age 75, of McCandless Township, unexpectedly on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Husband of Kathleen “Kathy” Anne (Kubala) Turner; father of Brian and Jason Turner; brother of Patricia Herwatic and Thomas Turner; also survived by nieces and nephews. Jimmy was a proud Army veteran who served in Vietnam. He was with the Security Department of North Allegheny School District for nearly 20 years. Friends will be welcomed to a Mass of Christian Burial which will be Celebrated in Saint Bernard Church (St. Michael the Archangel Parish) on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Jefferson Memorial Park Mausoleum. If desired, memorials may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation, Wounded Warriors Project, or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
