Janet M. Wolfe

Janet M. Wolfe passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the age of 93.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Myrtle McCalla; and her husband James “Jim” Wolfe. 

She is survived by her three children, Kurt (Melanie) Wolfe, Lori (James Watson) Lehman, and Ken (Diane) Wolfe; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Janet was a graduate of Oliver High School, Class of 1951, and later went on to enjoy a long and successful career in child care and education.

Traveling was a favorite pastime, with the beach always holding a special place in her heart. Her many creative interests included crafts, flower arranging, painting, knitting, and crocheting.

Hosting parties and gatherings for family and friends brought her great enjoyment, especially during Steelers games.

Above all, dancing was her favorite activity and something that brought her much happiness throughout the years.

Friends will be received on Saturday, September 26, from 10 am until 12 noon at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15216.
