Janice Marino Bladen

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Janice Marino Bladen on Friday, November 21, 2025, with her son and close friends by her side after a brief illness.

She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on March 14, 1949, a daughter of the late Charles D. and Mary Ann (Kata) Marino. Jan was a graduate of Youngstown State University and earned her Masters Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She retired after 35 years from the Pittsburgh Public Schools.

Loving mother of Stephen Marino; adoring grandmother of Gabriella Marino; sister of Charlene (Chip) Boyd of Toledo, Ohio, Joey (Patti) Marino of Poland, Ohio; also survived by many nieces and nephews; a special cousin Joanne Pirain; along with dear friends Ilene Lesser and Charlie Knudsen.

Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon on Friday, November 28th from 1:00 until 5:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Bernard Church (St. Michael the Archangel Parish) 311 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15216 on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be private.
