Jim W. Mason

Age 78, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Son of the late Jack and Doris. Beloved husband of Tedi Brunetti-Mason. Loving father of Noah William Mason (Brooke) and James Theodore Mason. Grandfather of Sophia, Ward, and Oliver. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Susan.

Jim was the salt of the earth. He was loved by all and never had an enemy. Jim was a graduate of Northwestern University where he earned his bachelor's degree. He worked as an auditor for many years for the state of Pennsylvania. Jim was a proud United States Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a talented lifelong musician/guitarist who enjoyed playing in Pittsburgh and New York, and he was featured in two albums.

Family and friends welcome Tuesday, February 27th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, 15216, where a funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM. Interment to follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Wednesday at 1:00 PM.
