Joan T. Urbanek

Age 89, of Pittsburgh, peacefully on Saturday evening, March 6, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Frederick R. Urbanek; devoted mother of William (Diane), Gary (Ellen), Dale (Kathleen), Sandra Konick (the late Kemp) and Arlene (Don) Breedlove; loving grandmother of Christopher (Megan) Urbanek, David Urbanek, Stephanie (Justin) Pentland, Jacob Urbanek, Nicholas Urbanek, Trista Jacob, Jordyn and Landon Breedlove; great grandmother of Penelope and Liam Pentland; also survived by family in New Castle and Elwood City, PA. Joan was a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Church and was a volunteer at Saint Clair Hospital. She loved family gatherings and traveling to New Castle and Elwood City to visit her many cousins. The family would like to thank the staff of Country Meadows in Bridgeville for the care they provided Joan over the past two years. Later this year, the family will be scheduling a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated in St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Greentree.
