John J. McGoran

Age 58, surrounded by his loving family at home in Imperial, PA, early Saturday morning, September 26, 2020. Devoted son of the late Shirley A (Triggs) and Gerald W. McGoran; beloved husband for 33 years of Linda (Garrone) McGoran; loving father of Kayla and Jonathan; cherished son-in-law of Ceasare and Dorothy Garrone;  loyal  brother of Thomas (Alycia) McLellan, Molly Hummer, Jennifer McGoran (Donald) Kelly, Shawn (Krissy) McGoran, Cullen (Melissa) McGoran, Kevin (Kristi) McGoran, the late Marjorie McLellan, Robert McLellan, Bryan and Gerald D. McGoran; nephew of Genevieve Prahl; brother-in-law of Larry (Debbie) and C.J. (Kelly) Garrone; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. John loved his job of 24 years at Republic Services. He was kind hearted, dedicated and a friend to everyone he met. He loved people and poured his energy into his family and friends. John was an avid sports watcher and often reminisced of his years playing high school and college football. He had a passion for Ireland, food and history. He will be dearly missed. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Monday from 2 until 7 while adhering to COVID-19 Precautions. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish - St. Catherine of Siena of Beechview on Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery.
