John R. "J R" Seljak

Age 80, a decades long resident of Dormont, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Caring father of Linda L. (Eddie) Kitchen; cherished ‘Poppy’ of Edward Anthony, Courtney Lynn, John James “J J” and Austin Christopher (Kaileigh) Kitchen; brother of Barbara Kiss, Janet (Ron) Miller and Paul (Mary) Seljak; also survived by nieces and nephews. John retired in 2017 as Assistant Manager of the Castle Shannon Shop ‘n Save. He was completely devoted to his grandchildren, be it sporting events, award ceremonies or just hurrying home from his night shifts so he could drive them to school. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon on Friday morning from 11 until a Blessing Service at 12 Noon. Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
