Kurt M. Wiedt

Age 50, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024. Kurt was born on Oct 18, 1973, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the youngest son of the late Karl W. Wiedt III and Sandra Martin Wiedt. Beloved father of Sophia; loving brother of Kristen Lynch (James), Kate Kovalan (Reed), Karl Wiedt, Kacey Wiedt (Patricia) and Michael Cawley (Katie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Kurt was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School, Class of ’92. He went on to attend Penn State University where he graduated with a degree in finance in 1996. Shortly after graduation, Kurt moved with friends to Denver, Colorado where he worked in mortgages, property development, and home building. Kurt was a highly creative, kind, and generous soul who always helped those in need. He will be remembered by many friends for his insight and wit. His untimely death will leave a great absence in all who loved him.

Family and friends welcome on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 3-7 PM, at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15216, where a Memorial service will be held on Saturday, at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
