Leon graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School and Penn State University. He served with the U.S. Navy in Hawaii. His long career with Babb Inc. enabled him to use his God-given gifts of love and encouragement as he specialized in service to the disability community. As an over 55-year member of Mt. Lebanon Evangelical Presbyterian Church, he served on many boards; was a Sunday School teacher and mentor; Stephen Ministry “listening ear;” and a faithful member of the choir. Sports were also important to him – tennis, golf, hiking and skiing- as well as being handyman to his growing family. Leon and Bee loved to travel, both at home and abroad. Everyone is welcome to attend his Memorial Service in Mt. Lebanon Evangelical Presbyterian Church, on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends following the service at a luncheon in the church Fellowship Hall.
