Age 46, died peacefully in the arms of her husband on Sunday May 22, 2022, at their home in Smithfield, NC, after a courageous battle with kidney disease. Leslie was born on April 5, 1976, in Centralia, IL to Sharon and the late Douglas Conquest. She was raised in Flushing, MI and graduated from Flushing High School in 1994. She completed an LPN program at Lake Superior State University in 2007 and worked as a nurse for UPMC for several years thereafter. Leslie, along with her husband, owned and operated a local moving service, Craig Family Movers, for over a decade. Leslie is survived by her husband Andrew Craig and children, Alyssa (Mustafa) Mahmood, Nick Conquest, Rachel Hunter and Jaxson Craig; grandchildren Faris and Zayn Mahmood; Mother Sharon Conquest; brothers Richard (Stacy) Conquest and Matthew (Kate) Conquest as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides spending time with her family and friends, Leslie had a passion for cruise ship travel along with family and community event planning. Leslie had a loving, adventurous, and spontaneous personality. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. Friends will be received at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes 1008 Castle Shannon Blvd. on Thursday from 3-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Bernard Church – St. Michael the Archangel Parish, on Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
