Lillian A. Atria

Of Mt. Lebanon, on Saturday October 22, 2022. Beloved wife for 57 years of Nicholas V. Atria; loving mother of Kim (Joe) Buckshaw and Joe (Karen) Atria; proud grandmother of Nicholas, Lily Rose and Maria Buckshaw; sister of Susan (late Francis) Frear, Arlow (Patricia) Julian, Melissa Gregeric and Michael (Gloria) Waldron. Lil was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, cousin, dog lover and friend. She poured her heart into everything she did, always thinking of others. She never complained, even when life became difficult. Instead of intense worry, she helped form a key support group 'Heart-To-Heart' for families dealing with their children’s heart disease. Her grandchildren will never forget the time she spent with them as kids, playing games, baking her famous sugar cookies and eating egg salad sandwiches. They are thankful for her making sure they were always on time by the threat of a cup of water being thrown on them. As Nick always said, “you’re my love, my life.”  Friends will be received at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes 222 Washington Road Mt. Lebanon on Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Michael the Archangel Parish, St. Bernard Church on Thursday at 10:00 AM.
