Lydia Casmer, of Friendship Village, formerly of Neville Island, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the age of 97.
Preceded in death by her beloved parents Philip and Mary (Lantosh) Casmer. Lydia is survived by her cousin Joanne Weil, of Silver Springs, Maryland.
After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Lydia embarked on a remarkable 37-year career with Pan American World Airways (Pan Am), spending her entire career in the Pittsburgh office. She began in reservations and sales and, through her dedication and expertise, advanced to become the District Sales Manager for Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
As per Lydia’s wishes there will be no visitation.
