Marcia G. Brent, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the age of 91.
She was a graduate of Dormont High School and Waynesburg College, where she graduated magna cum laude. She later earned a master’s degree with honors from McCormick Seminary in Chicago. She served faithfully as a Christian Education Director at several churches and then was employed by TWA in Reservations for more than 36 years.
A devoted servant of First Presbyterian Church of Castle Shannon, Dormont Presbyterian Church, Pittsburgh Presbytery, and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
She was a supporter of the performing arts, serving as a patron and board member of Performing Arts for Children and Pittsburgh International Children’s Theatre. She was active in civic life as a Republican Committeewoman and Judge of Elections in Mt. Lebanon. She enjoyed bridge club and bowling and was a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Daughter of the late Blossom Jane Pahel and J. Edgar Grimm. Widow of the late Wm “Bill” Brent.
Beloved sister of Joseph (the late Susanna), Dr. Ronald L. (Joyce), and the late Jud Grimm; aunt of Dr. Ronald L. (Anne) Grimm Jr., Dr. Elizabeth Grimm (Jacques) Arsenault, Mary Ann (George) Hegedus, Ronald Joseph (Jan) Grimm, the late John Richard Grimm, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mother of Lisa Brent (Marty) Fao; grandmother of Michelle (Ian) Swanson and Angela (Jeffrey) Hildack. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.

Friends received on Thursday, December 18, from 3 until 7pm at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15216. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19, at 10am in The First Presbyterian Church of Castle Shannon, 3636 Poplar Ave. Castle Shannon, PA 15234. Please meet at church. Interment to follow in Scottdale Cemetery.
