Marianne McDonald Siersdorfer Obituary

Marianne McDonald Siersdorfer, of Upper St. Clair, formerly Mt. Lebanon, died surrounded by her children at age 100 on July 29, 2026.  She is the beloved wife of the late Fred L. Siersdorfer for 68 years; loving mother of William F. Siersdorfer (Colleen) of Houston, TX and Amy Marie Leasure (Frederick) of Pittsburgh, PA; treasured grandmother of Betsy and Alex Siersdorfer, Chris (Michelle) Tissue, Jeff Tissue (Grant Merrell), Joshua Leasure (Chrystan Skefos) and Zachary (Claudia) Leasure; dear great grandmother of Hunter, Connor, Lucy, Annie, Landon and Reagan.


She was born in Youngstown, OH, on March 30, 1926, daughter of William N. and Marie Webb McDonald.  She was a graduate of Connecticut College for Women and employed by The Dollar Savings & Trust Company, Youngstown, OH, in the Trust Dept. for 9 years.  She lived life to the fullest through extensive travel, volunteer service, many club activities and loving her family, whom she adored.  She was a member of South Hills College Club, The Keynotes of Music for Mt. Lebanon, Friends of Hospice, The Volunteer Service Board of Magee-Womens Hospital and Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. 


There will be a Memorial Service at Friendship Village on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11:00AM.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Team Member Appreciation Fund at Friendship Village of South Hills or a charity of your choice.  Private interment will be at Tod Homestead Cemetery, Youngstown, OH.
