Marie Celine (Carr) Connelly

Age 88, of Mount Lebanon, peacefully on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Beloved wife for 53 years of the late Joseph R. Connelly; devoted mother of Mary Jo Connelly (Jeffrey Teixeira), Timothy (Donna), Brian (Tracey), Dennis (Julie), Geralyn (Jerry) Austin and Michael Connelly; loving grandmother of Alexandra (Kevin) Hacke, Brendan Connelly, Paul Austin, Kyle Austin, SamiraTeixeira, Rui Teixeira, Quinn, Claire and Sophia Connelly; great grandmother of Karsyn Marie Hacke; sister of the late James G. and Daniel A. Carr; also survived by extended family of Betty Ann Carr; Mary, Eileen, Sheila and Michael Sheridan; Peggy Bond and Brigid Lund; along with many nieces and nephews. Marie was a 1954 graduate of Mt. Mercy College (now Carlow University) and was a certified dietician. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Winifred Church (St. Paul of the Cross Parish) 550 Sleepy Hollow Road on Wednesday afternoon at 12:30. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be to a charity of your choice.
