89, in Naperville, IL, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, PA passed on Friday, June 10, 2022. Mary Lou was born in Pittsburgh, PA and lived most of her life in Mt. Lebanon, graduating from Mt. Lebanon High School. She was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church since 1945 and an active member of Sarah Circle until she moved to Naperville, IL. PEO was an important part of Mary Lou’s life, belonging to Chapter AA while in Pittsburgh and transferring to Chapter NE in Naperville, IL. While in Pittsburgh, Mary Lou volunteered for Reach to Recovery and for the Bower Hill Braillists. She enjoyed her friends in many Bridge Clubs and spent her leisure time creating needlepoint and working in her beautiful garden. Mary Lou was the eldest child of Robert LeRoy Fawcett and Mary Helen Walker Fawcett. Mary Helen died when Mary Lou was 2 years old. A very special aunt, Hazel Rosetta Fawcett, helped to take care of Mary Lou and her infant sister until her father married Elizabeth Emily Harshaw and the girls gained a new mother. Mary Lou is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Fawcett Coleman (James F.), her daughter, Linda Clark Keiser (Bruce A.), her daughter-in-law, Debra Taylor Clark, and her son, Chris Robert Clark (Norman Kauahi). She is also survived by four grandchildren, Kristen Keiser Kennedy (Michael G.), Matthew Clark (Mariah), Ryan Clark (Hannah) and Melissa Keiser (Matthew Martin), five great grandchildren and many special cousins, nieces and nephews. Mary Lou was predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Roy A. Clark, Jr and by her son, Roy A. Clark, III. She was also predeceased by her parents, many special aunts and uncles and a niece. There will be a memorial service 11:30a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 799 Washington Rd., Mt. Lebanon, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation (www.myotonic.org), The American Cancer Society or Southminster Presbyterian Church.
