Passed away peacefully at her home in Mt. Lebanon, on Monday evening, June 14, 2021. Born on May 23, 1940, a daughter of the late Caesar P. and Stella (Ventura) Arnoni. Beloved wife of the late Howard J. Burnett, Ph.D. and Robert A. dePalma; mother of Carolyn dePalma, Diane (Hans) Lange and Robert M. (Angela) dePalma; grandmother of Robert Lange, Nicholas Lange and Samantha Stella dePalma; stepmother of Lee (Tom) Berman, Sue (Chris) Petito and Mark (Liz) Burnett; also survived by nine step-grandchildren; her sister Shirley DeVito (the late Albert); nephews Albert (Ann) DeVito and Mark (Kelly) DeVito. Maryann was very involved in Pittsburgh Philanthropy, serving on the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Opera, the 25 Club of Magee Womens Hospital and the Allegheny Heart Institute. She was also an active member of the Pittsburgh Ballet and the Civic Light Opera. In addition, she was a member of the Rolling Rock Club, the Duquesne Club and St. Clair Country Club. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Anne Church (St. Paul of the Cross Parish) 400 Hoodridge Drive, Pittsburgh (Castle Shannon) on Friday at 12 noon. Entombment in Jefferson Memorial Park Mausoleum will be private. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held at St. Clair Country Club on Friday afternoon at 2:30.
