Maureen C. Durkin

Age 69, of Mount Lebanon, passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a brief illness on Wednesday February 7, 2024. Daughter of the late Thomas Durkin and Mary Mercy (Higgins) of Whitehall.; beloved sister of Tom Durkin and sister-in-law Gina Durkin of Scott Township; aunt of Tom, Jack, and Ellen Durkin; beloved sister of Nancy Durkin Flaherty who was an unsurpassed, loving, and supportive caregiver of Maureen and Maureen thanks her in every way;  beloved brother-in-law Tom Flaherty of Peters Township; aunt of John Flaherty, his spouse, Andrea Schaeffer Flaherty, and Patrick Flaherty.

Maureen was a long-time lector at St. Bernard Church in Mt. Lebanon. She was a past President of the Pittsburgh Radio and TV Club. Family & friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes 222 Washington Road Mt. Lebanon on Saturday from 10-11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 320 Bilmar Drive Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
