Moon-Il Cho

Dr. Moon-Il Cho, passed away at his home on September 7, 2026.

A great scientific mind who contributed greatly to the field of Oral Biology, a dedicated professor who was invested in educating and shaping the minds of his dental students, a strong and stoic man who was family-oriented and focused, a multi-talented athlete and a man with idealistic values and faith yet a sense of pragmatic realism, Moon will be greatly missed. 

Moon is survived by his wife, Chang-Shik (Mi-Sun) Cho; two children (Stephen and Rachel); one grandchild (Dylan); and two brothers (Moon O. and Moon S.) and their families.

As per Moon’s wishes, all services will be private.
