Nancy Esther (Koehler) Ingles

Age 88, of Mt. Lebanon, PA, was peacefully called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 5, 2026. Nancy was born on July 30, 1937, in Wheeling, WV. She was the youngest of 3 children and the only daughter of the late Henry Koehler Jr. and Helen Marie (Post) Koehler. Nancy was a devoted and loving wife, for 50 years, of the late John Olliffe Ingles. She will be forever loved and missed by her three children, Rebecca (Steve) Brown, of Pittsburgh, PA, Sharon Ingles Fury (Steve) of Rock Hill, SC, and Fred (Lori) Ingles of Spring Lake, MI. Nancy was known as “Mema” to her 6 beloved grandchildren, Erich (Choua Kue) Brown, Karah (Phil) Reeves, Ken (Rachel) Norton, Jeremy (Bailey) Norton, Melisa Ingles and Avery Ingles. Nancy always had a special place in her heart for babies and in her later years she was blessed with 8 great-grandchildren Chase, Zane, Ayla, Gwen, Greyson, Andie, Audrey and Franklin. She was the beloved sister of the late Bob (Mary Jo) Koehler of Washington, PA and the late Ron (Teresa) Koehler; also survived by nephews David (Emily) Koehler, Mark (Katie) Koehler, Tara Koehler (wife of the late Jason Koehler), and Barry (Susie) Koehler and their darling families.

Nancy worked as a Court Reporter in Allegheny County until 1964. After her family was grown she was “Nana” to Ryan & Christopher Dearth before going back to work at Allegheny County Health Department and retired from Allegheny County Pittsburgh International Airport.  

A special thank you to Dr. Shauna Assadzandi, Stacey Schaeffer, Patty Fagan and all the nurses and staff at Asbury Villas for the love and care of our sweet mother during the last 3 years. Life will never be the same without her, but we will strive to continue her legacy of always being kind to others.

Family and Friends will be welcomed on Friday, January 9th from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon 15216. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10th where everyone will gather at Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church, 975 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228. Interment is private to the family.
