Pamela Lacy Meadows

Pamela Meadows, 70, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday July 24th at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. Pam was born August 24th, 1953, in Spartanburg, SC. She attended college at the University of South Carolina where she obtained bachelors and masters degrees in Nursing. Pam worked as a nurse and diabetes educator. She enjoyed helping people live a better life and developed programs to help children and teens with diabetes. She spent most of her life in Columbia, SC with a close group of high school friends. Survivors include her daughter Allie and son-in-law Alex, her granddaughter, and her sister Diane Meadows living in Bozeman, MT. Pamela was the daughter of the late Mary (née Walker) and Martin Meadows. Pam loved yoga, riding her bike, gardening, birdwatching, her pets, the beach and spending time with her family. Funeral services will be held in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1066 Washington Rd., Mt. Lebanon, on Wednesday July 31 at 10:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow after the service at Robinson Cemetery in Bulger. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Angel Ridge Animal Rescue 390 Old Hickory Ridge Rd.
