Patricia Mountin

Patricia Jo (Massung) Mountin tragically passed away in Presbyterian hospital at 11:02 on September 5th 2025 at the age of 69.  

She was born on October 31, 1955 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to parents Mathias and Edna Massung.  She graduated from Dormont High School and went on to CCAC before transferring to Washington and Jefferson to get her degrees in math and epidemiology.  

In her youth, she enjoyed horseback riding, and both training in and teaching martial arts.  She also enjoyed reading, writing, cooking, gardening, and loved watching tennis.  

She's survived by her only son, Jason, and her older brother Ron Massung. Her Funeral and Wake will be held on November 1st at the McCormick Dorman VFW Post 694 in Dormont at 4 PM.
