Peter 'David' Liba

Age 69, of Mount Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 13, 2025.  Beloved husband for 43 years of the late Lorene Z. ‘Lori’ Liba; son of the late Peter and late Patricia Liba; devoted father of Jonathan (Christy) and Matthew (Jennifer) Liba; proud grandfather of Maren, Westin, Brooke, and Chase; brother of the late Donna Butler, Georgene Fink, and Patricia Kormick. Dave was a great friend to many, known for his themed celebrations, jovial attitude, and way of always making things work, no matter what. Dave was a dedicated owner of Golden Retrievers (Blue, Canon, and Sarsen) during his lifetime, enjoyed visiting his sons and grandchildren in Ohio and New Hampshire, and spending time with his friends at Canadohta Lake, PA. Family and friends will be welcomed at the Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Thursday, March 20 from 4:00 until 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Bernard Church (St. Michael the Archangel Parish) on Friday, March 21 at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to support service dogs at Canine Companions (www.canine.org/celebrate50).
