Phillip Scott Simon

Age 75, of Mount Lebanon, passed away on October 1, 2025. Beloved husband for 34 years of Susan (Landers) Simon; devoted father of Rachel Simon (Alex Gomes) of Silver Spring, MD and Ian Simon (Olivia Veltri) of Colier Township; son of the late Kenneth and Elza Jane (Hamrick) Simon; brother of Sandra (Bill) Faulkner; uncle of Julie (Mark) Lancaster of Flagstaff, AZ and their children Miles and Ruby; as well as Jon (Melissa) Faulkner of North Park and their children Nico and Gianna.

Phillip graduated from the University of Virginia, the London Film School and Western New England School of Law.

Phillip was an attorney in Pittsburgh who specialized in Bankruptcy Law. His proudest moment was arguing a case before the United States Supreme Court and Winning!

Phillip enjoyed many camping trips with friends over the years and riding his Moto Guzzi motorcycle. Phil loved yard work when it involved weed whacking, power washing or using the blower.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
