Raylynn Porco

On Saturday, May 6, 2023, Raylynn Porco, of Upper St. Clair, after being severely ill and hospitalized for three months, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the age of 31.

Beloved daughter of Jack Porco and Roberta Wilson; loving wife of Matthew A. Fedor; mother of A.J., Luna Ray, and Bryson Fedor; sister of Katy (Alex) DelGreco and Seve Porco; and aunt of Chloe and Caylee DelGreco. She is also survived by her father-in-law Bill Acheson and mother-in-law Diane Fedor.

She is proceeded in death by her grandparents, James and Jacqueline Porco and Walter and Thelma Wilson.

Raylynn graduated from Upper St Clair high school and Point Park University.  Afterwards, she was employed as an executive administrative assistant.  She was vivacious, outgoing and a caring person to all with a smile that would warm anyone’s heart.  She was a good wife and loving mother to her three young children and a joy to all who knew her.

Unfortunately, Raylynn had difficulty coping with the covid pandemic and its distressing impacts on her life.  She ultimately needed a liver transplant which the Pittsburgh hospitals would not consider for at least six months after her hospitalization.  Her family attempted to have Raylynn transferred to one of the many other hospitals in other cities that would have evaluated her for an immediate liver transplant. Lack of assistance from the Pittsburgh hospital caring for her and her medical insurer caused a significant delay in her transfer and the loss of her chance for survival.

Friends will be received Friday, May 12, from 3 to 8pm at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15216.  A private family memorial service will take place Saturday, May 13, at 9 am.
