Raymond A. Eder Jr.

Raymond A. Eder Jr., age 81, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024.  

Son of the late Raymond and Mary Eder of White Haven, PA. Beloved husband of 50 years, to the late Michaele. Loving father of William (Sara Minahan) Eder of Bethel Park and Kirsten Eder of Weems, VA. Dearest grandfather of Katie and Owen Eder, Elliot Crissey and Isabella Pusateri.

Raymond was born August 19, 1943, in Jersey City, NJ. He attended MMI Preparatory School in Freeland, PA and went on to graduate with a Doctorate in Pharmacology from Duquesne University.  He worked at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh and Mylan School of Pharmacy at Duquesne University for over 43 years.

Raymond was a member of St. Bernard Church in Mt. Lebanon. He enjoyed gardening and photography.  Through his brotherhood of Alpha Epsilon, he continued to keep in touch with his friends and former colleagues from Duquesne University.

Family and friends welcome Friday, October 18, 2024, from 4-6 P.M., at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Rd., Mt Lebanon, PA 15216. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 19, at 10 A.M. in St. Bernard Church, (St. Michael the Archangel Parish). Interment to follow at a later date.
