Age 90, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Helen. Loving father of Michele (James) Seitz, Karen Conklin, Julie (James) Garrubba, Craig (Patricia) Osekowski, Valarie (John) Duska, Michael (Patricia) Osekowski, Jason (Julie) Osekowski. Cherished grandfather of Derek Seitz, Kayla (Andrew Porter) Conklin, Krista (Richard Michael) Conklin, Erik (Jaclynne) Conklin, Ashley (Nicholas) Zitcovich, James Garrubba Jr., Shannon (Scott) Johnson, Kelly (Andrew) Graff, Craig (Jessica) Osekowski, Nicholas (Aleyna) Dabrowski, Ryan Duska, Meghan Osekowski, Michael Osekowski Jr., and Aidan Osekowski. Also survived by many great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Joseph Osekowski and Mary Schillinger.
Raymond was a proud Marine Veteran who served during the Korean War. Throughout his career, he worked at Crucible Steel as a Metallurgist, Prudential as an Insurance Agent, and for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a State Insurance Investigator. Raymond was an usher at St. Winifred Church and worked the food bank for many years. He was a longtime basketball coach at St. Elizabeth in Pleasant Hills and was an avid Pittsburgh Panthers sports fan. Raymond always enjoyed a good cigar, and a glass of Chivas.
Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon, on Wednesday, November 8th, from 3-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anne Church, St. Paul of the Cross Parish, on Thursday, at 10:00 AM.
