Rev. Elizabeth May "Mary" Weatherwax

Age 87, of Friendship Village in Upper St. Clair, originally of Mt. Lebanon and formerly from Bridgeport, WV; died on Friday, July 7, 2023.  Mary was the daughter of the late Nicholas H. and Joy (Adams) Krayer; beloved wife of the late David Eugene Weatherwax, Esq.; devoted mother of Amy Louise (James) Snider; Joy Pauline Weatherwax and the late James Roy Weatherwax; loving grandmother of Leah Snider of Bridgeport, WV, Sarah (Ryan) Light of El Paso, TX, and Sean (Chloe) Snider of Bridgeport, WV; great grandmother of Wesley and Maddox Conley, Emma and Anders Light, Luke and Boston Snider; sister of William L. Krayer, Esq. of Mt. Lebanon and Upper St. Clair and the late Nicholas H. Krayer, Jr. M.D.  Mary was ordained to the Priesthood in 1981 by the late Right Rev. Robert P. Atkinson, Bishop of West Virginia where Mary served for 7 years. Mary returned to Mount Lebanon and served at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for 20 years. In retirement Mary enjoyed many years at Friendship Village. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Friday morning, August 4 at 11:00 o'clock. A reception will follow at Friendship Village. If desired, memorials may be made to the Church at 1066 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228.
