Rev. Marlene M. Carney

Age 89, of Cleveland, TN, formerly of Pittsburgh, died on Sunday January 3, 2021. Wife of the late Rev. Larry Carney; devoted mother of John and Louis Cangelier (Colleen); loving grandmother of Christina, Lauren and Alivia Cangelier; great-grandmother of Capri; beloved sister of Anita Lucci (Chuck), Louise Frazetta (the late Sam) and the late Jackie Mosemiller-Monda; dear friend and former mother-in-law of Debbie Acker; also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Marlene faithfully served as a minister at  The Church of God in Cleveland, TN and was acting secretary for the church for 30 years. She and her late husband, Larry, also ran the church's food bank for 50 years. She will be remembered for her kindness and support to all she served. Family plans no viewing or visitation hours in Pittsburgh. Interment in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery will be private. A public memorial service will be held in The Church of God, 1826 S.E. Dalton Pike, Cleveland, TN 37311 on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Church of God, P.O. Box 1207, Cleveland, TN 37364-1207.
