REV. THOMAS R. WILSON

Age 77, of Pittsburgh and originally from Dormont, on Tuesday evening July 7, 2026, passed peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Devoted son of the late Thomas C. and Mary Alice (Wilt) Wilson; dear cousin of Nancy Clifford and her husband Dennis; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Fr. Tom was ordained in 1975 and for the next 51 years served in several churches and parishes throughout the Diocese of Pittsburgh, along with a few years he spent with the Diocese of Miami, FL.

Fr. Tom’s talents included several meticulous crafts and he always had many ideas for modifying his surroundings. Fr. Tom’s fondest creation was the ‘Coffee Table’ book he authored and designed about his home Church, Saint Bernard’s, where he celebrated his first Mass.  

Friends will be welcomed at Saint Bernard Church, (St. Michael the Archangel Parish) 311 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Friday morning from 9:00 until a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 o’clock with Bishop Mark A. Eckman as Principal Celebrant. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Park.
