Richard Welch, II Obituary
age 37, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, while traveling through Columbia on his way to Argentina. Devoted son of Richard and Jeanne Welch; only brother of Rebecca Welch (Eric) Washabaugh; loving uncle of Taylor, Jackson and Astrid Washabaugh. Rich attended Seton LaSalle High School, Duquesne University, then Johnson and Wales University. He was an accomplished cook. His passion in life was traveling to Spain, Mexico and South America where he enjoyed the music, hot sauces, food and the people. Rich made friends wherever he went and was loved by all. His smile, personality and care for others touched everyone he met. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on what would have been Rich’s 38th Birthday, Saturday morning, April 23rd at 11 ‘clock, in Saint Winifred Church, 550 Sleepy Hollow Road, Mt. Lebanon.
