Robert Leser Breslow

Robert Leser Breslow, 71, passed away on October 27, 2023, surrounded by his family and his favorite music.

Son of the late Ira and Blanche (Leser) Breslow; loving husband of Marlene. Preceded in death by his son Kyle; father of Lindsay (Tom) Cannon and Kelsey Breslow; proud PapPap of Kylie and Keegan Cannon. Beloved brother of Marcy Breslow.

Bob’s greatest joys in life were his family and friends. He made and kept good friends throughout childhood, college, and beyond. An accounting graduate of Penn State, he was fortunate to enjoy his career in community banking, and he was an avid PSU football fan. Later in his career, he earned an M.B.A. After retiring, he took pleasure in delivering donated food to Pittsburgh food banks.

Bob loved to be outdoors, whether hiking in the National Parks, hitting the road by motorcycle or car, or walking in the neighborhood—often stopping to chat along the way. Despite many health challenges over the years, he took pride in setting personal records and making new friends at the gym. But his favorite role of all was being PapPap to Kylie and Keegan.

Bob’s request for cremation has been honored. Memorial donations may be made to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank (pittsburghfoodbank.org) or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (lls.org).
