Robert P. Stocker

Age 83, of Mt. Lebanon, peacefully passed on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Beloved husband of Marsha (Lioon); father of Michelle Ann, Robert Jr. (Patricia) & Julie Elizabeth; grandfather of Marcia Connell (Glen), Robert III and James; great grandfather of Parker Connell; brother of Dennis. Preceded in death by daughter Ruth Evelyn & brother Donald. Cherished alum of St. Bernard’s and Duquesne University, followed by a long career at PPG. “He was one of the most generous people with a great sense of humor."  “He set the bar very high for what it means to be a family man.”  “Perfect example of how to be a Father and Best Friend.” “Loved dearly by the family he was dedicated to."  Love of family was rivaled only by his passion for sports. Friends will be received at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes 222 Washington Road Mt. Lebanon, on Monday from 3-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Michael the Archangel Parish – St. Bernard Church on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
