Beloved husband of the late Jean Hamler for 71 years; father of James (Nan) Hamler, Jeffrey Hamler and the late Ronald Hamler; great-grandfather of Joshua Covington; foster father of Lisa Cote; brother of the late Ben, Dietal and Mabel Hamler, Florence Weber, Liz Rabb, Ida Rodgers, Jim Adams and Nan Threnhauser. Huck was the last of the original Merrill's Marauders. Special thanks to the Veterans Hospital, especially the staff of 6-West for their loving and respectful care.
